Büyük Macellan Bulutu'nda KabarcıklarBubbles in the Large Magellanic Cloud
This photograph looks beyond the Milky Way: the N11 complex, the second-largest star-forming region of the Large Magellanic Cloud. Each ring is a bubble inflated by the wind of a star cluster inside it; at the edge of every bubble, new stars continue to form.
That nebulae 160,000 light-years away can be seen in such detail with an amateur telescope is a privilege of the southern sky. The stars here contain fewer heavy elements than those of the Milky Way — a chemistry closer to a younger universe.
